CHECK OUT SOME OF THE SPACE WE'VE HAD THE PLEASURE TO ORGANIZE
The owner of this closet had clothes dating back to the 80s and felt it was finally necessary to let them go. Her main goal was to not only make more space in her closet but she wanted to finally see her lovely floor.
We were able to highlight all of the clothes she ended up keeping. Because there was more space, we were able to take it a step further and create zones in her closet. Now she is able to find anything in her closet in less than five seconds plus she can see her floors again!
Though this garage may not look cluttered, the owners struggled finding things easily. There was no order which slowly made the garage a dumping ground for the things that had no home.
With just some space planning and a couple of containers, this garage was transformed into a more functional storage space. We were able to remove items that had been sitting on the floor for months plus make the area clear so if the owners wanted to park their cars in the garage, they would avoid hitting or running over items.
This pantry was neglected and avoided for most of the time the owners lived in their house. Because of the disorder, they were unable to cook for their family. Their goal was to have a space that made items easily accessible and to cook dinner once a week.
By just adding a couple of bins, jars, and labels, we were able to create a space the owners needed. After three years, the owners were able to cook a meal in their home and the wife was finally able to make her mother’s famous pie.
This client still had clothes she wore in high school which was 15 years ago. It was difficult for her to let them go because of the memories they brought to her. Because of her success with YouTube, and the large number of items she receives on a weekly basis, she needed to make space for both her old and new clothes.
Rather than buying organizing products, we ended up using the items she already had ─ which worked perfectly in her space. We ended up getting rid of eight bags full of clothes she no longer wore and we donated them to her preferred local charity. We were also able to color coordinate and organize her clothes according to their style.
This client had been living in his home for 3 years and found time to organize his garage. Because he had no storage any item he'd bring into the garage was put on the floor. The overall goal for this space was to clear it out so he'd be able to finally fit both of his cars in his garage.
With a little purging and adding a shelving unit, this space was transformed into a clutter-free and organized garage. He was finally able to give his extra paint cans a home and most importantly park both of his cars inside the garage.
This client was a bachelor and was making a big step in his life by having his girlfriend move in. Before she moved in he wanted to get his closet space organized and ready for her. He was holding on to clothes from nearly a decade ago and needed to incorporate varies organizing products to create order amongst his belongings.
First and foremost, we took everything out of his closet and went through every article of clothing together. This process was a long one but well worth it. We ended up keeping only the items that he loved and fit him well and donated the others. He was finally able to walk through his closet without stepping on clothes and for the first time knew where everything was. His girlfriend happily moved in the next month.
This clients garage was full of old unused items and memories. She lost her son 4 years prior and was finally ready to let go of his stuff and get her garage organized. She desperately wanted to be able to go into her garage and find anything she was looking for.
This project took about two 4 hours days to complete. We ended up re-using all of the organizing bins she had but this time labeling all of them. Every bin had its own purpose and she no longer had to open all the bins to find what she was looking for.
This side of her garage was full of 5 year old paint and lacked order.
This side ended up becoming the side a home for the items that were most used.
This clients garage was full of items that have been in my client's possession for many years. Though they moved into a larger home, the stuff they had exceeded their space.
This is another view of my client's garage.
This project took about 16 hours total and 2 Organizing Consultants to get it to where it is now and it was so worth it. We ended up purchased these durable yellow and black bins to house most of their garage items and we stored them on these black/white racks. Each bin has it's own place and adding labels was the icing on the cake.
